Vyze Media ("we," "us," or "our") operates vyzemedia.com (the "Site"), the corporate home of the VyzeMedia network. This policy explains what we collect on this Site and what we do with it.
Each publication in the network (for example ManufacturingMag, PureGrail, Call The Local, Gavel Daily, and Mortgage in Georgia) has its own privacy policy that governs that site. This policy covers vyzemedia.com only.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
We only collect personal information when you choose to send it:
- Advertising inquiries: When you submit the form on our Advertise page, we collect your name, company name, email address, optional phone number, the publications you are interested in, your budget range, and any message you include.
- Email: When you email us directly, we receive whatever you put in that message.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>) that persist up to 2 years and processes IP addresses (truncated/anonymised by GA4) and a random client id; no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking are used. Visitors in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and California are not tracked until they consent (Google Consent Mode); everyone can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
What we do not collect
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral targeting on this Site.
- We do not collect financial or payment information on this Site.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
Connected social media accounts
Vyze Media publishes its own editorial content to social media accounts that we own and operate (for example the ManufacturingMag and PureGrail accounts on TikTok). To do this, an authorized Vyze Media administrator connects each of our accounts to our internal publishing tool through the platform's official login (for TikTok, Login Kit and the Content Posting API). When an account is connected we receive and store: the platform's account identifier and display name for that account, and the access and refresh tokens the platform issues for it. We use this information for exactly one purpose: to publish our own articles (as image carousels or videos) to our own accounts, and to read the resulting post's status and basic engagement metrics for those posts. We do not access, collect, or store any data about other users of the platform, followers, or the public. Tokens are encrypted at rest, are never shared with third parties, and are deleted when the account is disconnected in our tool. You can request deletion at any time at privacy@vyzemedia.com. Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond: We use your contact details to reply to advertising inquiries and other messages.
- To prepare proposals: We use the details you share to put together advertising or partnership plans.
- To improve the Site: We use Google Analytics to understand what is working.
- To comply with the law: We may use information to meet legal obligations or enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for behavioral profiling.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, including:
- Hosting and infrastructure (for example Vercel and Railway)
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager, Google LLC)
- Email delivery (to send and receive messages)
- Security and CDN (for example Cloudflare)
These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice).
4. Data Retention
We keep advertising inquiry submissions for as long as needed to follow up and for our records, and then delete or anonymize them. Google Analytics event data is retained for up to 14 months; the _ga cookie persists up to 2 years. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us not to sell or share it (we do not sell it). To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vyzemedia.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit what we collect in the first place.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
